Treatment Payment Options
Avalon Centers accepts most insurance plans. Benefits may vary with different plans, however most HMO's cover at 100% outside of a deductible or co-pay that might apply. Commercial and PPO's plans cover treatment at our New York facility as well, normally higher than 80% per day. Pre-certification and authorization are usually required for this level of care.

Ontario residents are eligible for coverage under OHIP, the Ontario Health Insurance Plan. Click here for further information.

Prior to admission, your benefits will be reviewed and pre-certification will be obtained. If required, an authorization will be completed on admission day. Any deductible or co-pay that applies will be collected prior to admission.
Referrals are usually required with most insurance plans. Avalon suggests consulting with your primary doctor and any mental health provider you are currently seeing for their recommendations.
